एक सूक्ष्मजीव विज्ञानी की दृष्टि से ईश्वर

    ईश्वर है या नहीं यह एक ऐसा प्रश्न है जिसका उत्तर मनुष्य प्रारब्ध से ही ढूंढता रहा है. कोई 100 साल पहले हमें नहीं पता था कि जीवाणु, विषाणु और उन्हें निर्माण करने वाली सूक्ष्म से सूक्ष्मतर कणिकाएं हैं भी कि नहीं, परंतु मनुष्य ने अपनी दृष्टि में विस्तार किया, विस्तार करने के लिए नए-नए उपकरण बनाए और हम अदृश्य को भी देखने लगे. कल हो सकता है ऐसा दृष्टि यंत्र बना ले कि हम उस तत्व को भी जान लें जो हमारी सांस का आना-जाना जारी रखता है हमें जीवित और मृत के रूप में जानने योग्य बनाता है, कुछ लोग उसे आत्मा कहते हैं और कुछ लोग उसे परमात्मा का अंश परंतु सत्य अंतहीन है.

    इस सबसे यही सिद्ध होता है कि जो हम आज देख रहे हैं वह सत्य नहीं है, या तो वह अर्ध-सत्य है या वह भ्रम है. और हम अपने प्रारब्ध से ही भ्रम को सत्य समझते रहे हैं, और सत्य का हमें आज भी पता नहीं.

    हम अक्सर समझते हैं कि मनुष्य इस पृथ्वी पर सबसे बुद्धिमान जीव है परंतु मैं कभी-कभी सोचता हूं कि इस बुद्धिमान जीव ने अपने लिए क्या कभी ऐसे घर बनाए हैं जहां यह निश्चित होकर आनंद में रहे जैसे कि कितने ही जीवाणु और विषाणु हमारे शरीर में निवास करते हैं, बिना कोई प्रयास जैसा कि हमें रोज करना पड़ता है, चलते-फिरते घर, खाने-पीने का इंतजाम करते घर, हमारे बच्चों को पालने वाले घर, हमारे लिए आरामदायक वातावरण का निर्माण करते घर, हमें कश्टकारी पॉल्यूशन से बचाने वाले घर, अपने को मिटाकर भी हमें बचाने वाले घर. परंतु जीवाणु विषाणु और जाने कितने ही हमारी समझ के हिसाब से निरबुद्धि जीवों ने बड़े जीवो और मनुष्य के शरीर के रूप में कितने ही सुंदर और आरामदायक घरों का निर्माण किया है.
इस छोटे से विवरण से ईश्वर और उसे समझने वाली बुद्धि के बारे में एक और भ्रम का निर्माण होता है और ब्रह्म (भ्रम) में हमें जीने का एहसास भी नहीं होता.

    मेरे विचार से ईश्वर आस्था का नहीं विज्ञान का विषय है आस्थाएं समय और काल के अनुसार बदलती रहती है अर्थात ईश्वर भी बदलता रहता है, परंतु ऐसा सत्य प्रतीत नहीं होता इसलिए आज ईश्वर आस्था नहीं सत्य की खोज का विषय होना चाहिए.

    Whether God exists or not is such a question, the answer to which man has been searching since its origin. Some 100 years ago we did not know whether bacteria, viruses, and the smallest particles that create the material world existed or not, but man expanded his vision, and created new tools to expand the vision and now we can see even the invisible. Tomorrow maybe such a vision instrument will be made that we will also know that element that keeps our breath coming and going and makes us capable of knowing us as alive and dead, some people call it soul, and some people call it part of God. But the truth is endless.

    All this proves that what we are seeing today is not the truth, it is either a half-truth or it is an illusion. Since our origin, we have been considering illusion as truth, and even today we do not know the truth.

    We often think that man is the most intelligent creature on this earth but I sometimes wonder whether this intelligent creature has ever made such a house for itself where it can live safely and happily like so many bacteria and viruses live in our body. Tiny creatures live in all of us without any effort as we have to do every day, in mobile homes, in homes that provide food and drinks free and all the time, in homes that raise our children, in homes that create a comfortable environment for them, in homes that protect them from the pesky pollution, homes that save them even after destroying themselves. According to our understanding, bacteria, viruses and many other tiny creatures are mindless but they have built many beautiful and comfortable houses in the form of giant animals and human bodies.

This small detail creates another illusion about God and the intellect that understands Him and we do not even realize that we live in Brahman (an illusion).

    In my opinion, God should not be a matter of faith but of science to save our generations from being Andhbhakts (blind devotees) but a thoughtful generation. Beliefs keep changing according to time and period, that is, God also keeps changing, but this does not seem to be true, hence Today God should not be a matter of faith, it should be a subject of search for truth.
