Why to punish? Award to Ramalingam Raju.

Corruption in India! Accept it as it is or gets penalized! Or help others for development of this National Character.
What wrong has Mr. B. Ramalinga Raju of Satyam has done except that he accepted that he has done corruption? He must be awarded the best available gallantry and Civic award of India because he has not only helped but taught the lessons to millions that accept the corruption today; Corruption is our Birth Right and is our National character.
It is very much necessary to be quiet or be part of corruption if you want to live peacefully in India. I am going to cite three examples of my friends working in Indian Council of Agricultural Research headed by Dr. Mangla Rai under Chairmanship of Mr. Sharad Pawar (Honorable Cabinet Minister of Agriculture), who claims him to be Nationalist. He Might be true because he is propagating the National Character of India “Corrupt India” at his best.
One Mr. Chandra Shekhar, AAO at Project Directorate of FMD (a major diseases of Indian Animals), reported frauds in the purchase of chemicals and equipment costing more than 5 crores rupees, he sent evidence to all the concerned in Indian Council of Agricultural Research and also to CVC and CBI. In reward what he got; punishment transfer to North east and adverse entry. What the Project Director (Dr. B. Patnaik, once beaten by his wife being caught red-handed in bed with his research associate) got? Appreciation, the choice to have AAO of his own choice or run the system as it was running since the inception of the Project Directorate and more funds from Indian Council of Agricultural Research.
Another interesting case is from National Research Centre on Camel, Bikaner, a principal scientist Dr. Aminuddin, reported about plagiarism (stealing) in research and publications by the mighty Director (Dr. KML Pathak) besides, the Director also ordered cutting of green trees from the heart of Desert Land. What Dr. Aminuddin got? He is suspended for last 4 months, many false cases have been levelled against him to finish his career. What the might Director got? Again appreciation, more funds and freedom to do what so ever he wants.
One more interesting case is of Dr. BR Singh, Head of Department of Animal Sciences at CARI, Port Blair, whose story you might have read on similar website earlier, he reported about fraud research and fraud purchase in the Department with published and strong evidence of each and everything to DG (Dr. Mangla Rai), DDG, CVC and probably to CBI? What he got in reward? Adverse entry, demotion and punishment posting in North East. What the fraud researchers got? You will be happy to know that one of the masterminds behind all fraud researches at CARI, Port Blair is now Director of the Premier Veterinary Research Institute (Dr. SPS Ahlawat, for your knowledge he is not the man of Veterinary Sciences, an agriculturist transformed to animal breeder) so that the National Character can be propagated further at mass scale. Another Fraud researcher (Dr. A Kundu) is made Head of Department in place of Dr. BR Singh. The Director (Dr. RC Srivastav, a philanderer, fighting a case of in-office molestation of a Lady Senior Scientist), who is involved in fraud purchase of crores of rupees, got further funds, freedom from the lady, freedom from the problematic Head of Department.
There is no need to explain what the DG (Dr. Mangla Rai) Indian Council of Agricultural Research might get from providing protection to all good men and punishing all the nuisance creators.
Also, there is no need to explain why CVC and CBI, the sentinels of India against corruption are quiet.
Now the Yaksh Prashna is?
What lesson we get from the above facts?
My answer is four fold:
1. Accept the Corruption as National Character and be Nationalist.
2. Not become a hindrance in the development of National Character either through stopping or through reporting the act of corruption in your Vicinity.
3. Call for Closure of all the forums, agencies like CBI, CVC, anticorruption Bureau, CID etc. which are feeding on money to stop the development of National Character however many of their honest officers (as we read in news) are helping in character development.
4. And finally, adopt the statute of “Three monkeys of Gandhi Ji, father of the Nation” towards corruption if you do not want to be a party in Development of the National Character.
