How do you feel about the award of the Nobel Prize 2023 to inventors of the COVID-19 mRNA Vaccine (Katalin Karikó & Drew Weissman)? Both of them are neither inventors of mRNA vaccine technology nor the first users of this technology for humans but their COVID-19 vaccine use caused apathy (hesitancy) for the use of other vaccines among many vaccine users (https://lnkd.in/dUnV4bgi). Created two groups among medicos, ProVaxers and AntiVaxer, as the COVID-19 vaccine uses have been disputed a lot (https://lnkd.in/di5VKt4Y; https://lnkd.in/dmiGGHfh).

A recent study showed that immune function among COVID-19-vaccinated individuals after 8 months of the administration of two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine was lower than that among unvaccinated individuals. According to European Medicines Agency recommendations, frequent COVID-19 booster shots could adversely affect the immune response and may not be feasible (https://lnkd.in/dqxAV9SM; doi:10.1001/jamanetworkopen.2021.40364 & doi: 10.1186/s12985-022-01831-0). 

Further, the forced and blanket COVID-19 vaccination globally over a long period to vaccinate all with insufficient doses and poor quality control of the vaccines (https://lnkd.in/dxXCcDrn) made communities unable to reach thresholds of coverage necessary for herd immunity against COVID-19, thus unnecessarily perpetuating the pandemic and resulted in untold suffering and deaths. The outcome led to Vaccine hesitancy, which is pervasive, misinformed, contagious, and is not limited to COVID-19 vaccination (doi: 0.1080/21645515.2021.1893062).

I feel that the world is now under the Dark Age. I may be wrong and I wish to be wrong, but dark all around does not permit me to be at peace.
